Andaman   Islands – The   Emerald   Necklace   of    India – Heaven   on   Earth   - This   was my impression of these beautiful islands ever since I saw the pictures of the exotic locales in the photo album of my friend,   Rupa way back in the year 2003, when I was studying M.Tech. I instantly fell in love with this place. This place was my first choice of tour after my wedding in the year 2006. But due to the unfortunate Tsunami that had devastated the islands in 2004, I felt that was not the right time to visit this place, as it really needs a lot more time to rebuild tourism. Since then, I badly wanted to visit this place. Bitragunta……….. That name itself makes my heart skip a beat!   Yes truly, those were the best days of my life ………………………..              the unpolluted atmosphere, the innocent childhood, the Railway school, the non-stop enjoyment with friends, the Bogole bazaar, the Ibrahim pet Market,   the vast Railway Quarters, the old loco shed and of course the constantly heard rhythm of the trains……… Coooo…………. That’s what makes Bitragunta perfectly unique! I just felt like reminiscing once again the good old days spent in My Bitragunta! My Pride!
